Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to have a 200MP Main Sensor

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the next top-of-the-line smartphone that will be released by Samsung and it will be coming in early 2023. Now there is a lot of information already available about the Galaxy S23 Ultra but it has been confirmed that the phone will debut with a 200MP main camera sensor.

Ice Universe who is a reliable tipster when it comes to Samsung’s upcoming products revealed that 100% of the next Flagship from Samsung will have a 200MP camera. He further said that the camera will have 1/1.3 inches and have a 0.6µm sized pixel and a larger aperture of f/1.7 for letting in more light.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra came with a 108MP main camera, with a 1/1.33 inch size and 0.8µm pixels, and an f/1.8 aperture. He also added that the camera sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be a bit larger than the sensor found on the iPhone 14 pro’s main 48MP main camera, even though it has a 1/1.3 inch size.

Ice universe also made it clear that some Android brands are planning to create even bigger sensors on their flagships for 2023. There is also news going around that the new 200MP sensor is going to be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and it won’t come with the HP1 and HP2 200MP sensors announced by Samsung earlier.
