Oppo just launched a new A-series smartphone for the Indian market and it’s called the Oppo A77 4G. The midrange device has a 50MP main camera, and a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display. Oppo launched the 5G version back in June and it came with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. The 4G model, however, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset.
It comes with an HD+ resolution and the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The water drop notch display houses the 8MP selfie camera, and we also have an additional 2MP depth sensor at the back. We have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space on board. You can also expand the storage space using a dedicated memory card. The phone has IPX5 dust and water resistance. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery, and it supports 33W fast charging which is great for a midrange device.
Color OS 12.1 is based on Android 12 Software. The phone only cost $196 and at that price point, it is going to generate a lot of buzzes. It has a fibreglass leather design that looks pleasing and unique. The phone is available in sunset orange, but we are yet to know other colours available. You can get the Oppo A77 4G in India starting immediately, and we are expecting them to roll out the phone in other regions, especially the African market.
