Apple Watch Series 8

Apple Watch Series 8 Full Specs & Price in Nigeria

The Apple Watch Series 8 is the latest smartwatch from apple and it comes with some upgrades. Apple kept the same design profile, but added some sensors, especially for women to track their cycles and ovulating periods. Apple also claims all your data is encrypted and cannot be shared with anyone unless you do. It also has a barometer, heart rate sensor, and all the sensors typical of an Apple watch.

You can also charge the watch with MagSafe and other compatible Qi wireless chargers. The watch reads your temperature every 5 seconds when you are sleeping, it is strong enough to sense a 0.1 degree Celsius temperature change in your body. There are two sensors helping to improve sensitivity with one at the back and the other beneath the display.

The Apple watch Series 8 also has crash detection thanks to some new and improved 3-axis gyroscope and G-force accelerometer. Crash detection uses various sensors including the microphone, GPS, and barometer to determine if you’ve been involved in a crash. It will automatically dial 911 once it detects a severe crash, and you don’t respond after 10 seconds. Apple also claimed that crash detection has been tested one million times in different controlled environments.

The battery life is the same as the previous mode, but the Apple Watch Series 8 has a new low-power mode. It lets you have up to 36 hours of battery life, but it will limit the functionality of some sensors. The watch comes with aluminum and stainless still finishes with different color options. You can also swap out the bands no matter what model you go for.
